My first CrossFit workout was on New Year’s Day 2016 all because a friend convinced me. I thought I was going to die and came back with the same friend a year later. This time, with the outlook of trying to be fit, lift heavy and to look better. I was overtraining in a regular gym and doing CrossFit at the same time. After a knee injury and finally a lower back injury I decided to reevaluate my priorities, stop going to the globo gym and started trusting the CrossFit programming and coaching. Now after two years of CrossFit I’m passionate about it and love it. I love it so much that I decided to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and intern at CrossFit Habu. I have never felt stronger and I want to help people understand the process of fitness. CrossFit Habu was my first CrossFit gym and the community feels like family.
