Coach Jay demonstrated the proper form for a deadlift then had us practice with a PVC pipe before tackling the weight. Ended up with 240lbs. Before and after Coach conducted a comprehensive stretching regimen, (as always), to minimize the chance of injury. Another great work out!
I’ve never been a fan of lifting but I came out to CrossFit Habu looking for a challenge. Coach Jay’s instruction was very informative and motivating, and instilled in me the desire to come back and challenge myself each day. I look forward to pushing it harder and growing stronger with CrossFit Habu.
Really pushed it today with a PR of 275 on deadlifts. Little miscalculation on my part and I jumped to 275lb on my 3rd set when I should have been at 250lb. Thanks for pushing me to finish the last few sets I didn’t think I would be able to complete. Great workout in sure I will feel in the morning. Thanks coach.
